The KSH Type PKU filter nozzle, supplied by Absorb, is an advanced development of the P type nozzle. It incorporates a float inside the air cushion tube, which reduces the flow during backwashing from below the nozzle base. The resulting counterpressure ensures a more even and efficient distribution of the regeneration agent throughout the filter bed.

When the system switches back to filtration, the float automatically reopens the passage, allowing normal operation without restriction. This intelligent design enhances both system performance and media regeneration efficiency.
